Tomahawk Pro – High-Rigidity CNC Router
The Tomahawk Pro CNC Router is engineered for serious machining performance and extreme rigidity. Built to outperform typical hobby-class routers, the Tomahawk Pro combines industrial-grade motion hardware, precision machining, and vibration-dampening construction.
All primary frame extrusions are epoxy-granite lattice filled, dramatically increasing stiffness and reducing vibration. This results in smoother finishes, tighter tolerances and improved tool life — particularly in aluminium and hard materials.
The machine features 25 mm profile linear rails on all axes, paired with 20 mm precision ballscrews on X & Y and a 16 mm precision ballscrew on Z, delivering exceptional repeatability and smooth motion under load.
With a generous 1200 × 1200 mm work envelope, the Tomahawk Pro can handle full-size panels or production parts with ease. A unique front-face machining capability allows a vertical workpiece to be clamped over the front of the machine for edge machining, dovetails, joinery, pocketing, or 5-sided operations—something typical gantry routers simply cannot do.
The precision 16 mm 6061 aluminium baseplate is machined flat and features:

Powered by a UCCNC control system, the Tomahawk Pro includes custom macros for:
Automatic tool length setting
Spindle-mounted touch probe routines (custom probing macros)
The machine ships ready to run — plug-and-play from a single-phase 15 A outlet.
NOTE: Requires a 15 A power outlet.
A 2.2 kW ER20 air-cooled spindle is standard, with an available upgrade to a 3.2 kW BT30 Automatic Tool-Change (ATC) spindle. Optional tool racks are available for automatic tool storage and pickup when using the BT30 ATC system.
